Our Accommmodation - Location and Information Our holiday properties are located in Arillas on the northwest part of the island Corfu, 45km away from Corfu Town. All holiday flats, apartments and studios are run on a self catering base. They are located in two different units.   Holidayflat George is aligned in the so-called main building and has sea view with fabulous sunsets every day in summer. Directly in front of this building is a large parking lot.  On the opposite side of the street are all the other studios and apartments. They are arranged in a line and accessible through a small front garden. There is also another smaller parking lot at that side of the road.All porches and balconies are furnished with comfortable rattan chairs and tables. All kitchens and kitchenettes are equipped with cooker, coffee maker, toaster and kettle. All 4-bed-apartments and "Alexandros" have also an oven. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning. Alternativly there is a ceiling fan in each room. Air conditioning can also be used for heating which is sometimes necessary in May or October. Internet is accessible in all rooms and free of charge. We provide our guests with linens, towels, bath towels and kitchen choth. The bed linen will be changes weekly and the towels every fourth day. Obove the beds are hooks for mosquito nets and also in each room a device for the socket to put mosquito liquid or tablets in.   As common space for our guests there is also a 150sqm roof garden availably. It can be reached from the parking lot. There our guests can bring there drinks and enjoy the wonderful sunsets. There is also a BBQ witch can be used after asking us.Finally, a word on the specific location of our accommodation. They are located on a hillside in the upper part of Arillas. From the main building the view goes over the village to the sea and the beautiful sunsets. The beach is just a five minute walk away. But the bars and restaurants are far enough to be not disdurbing with there entertainment at night. From Arillas the road passes our apartments and leads to Agios Stephanos and Magoulades. You can reach this villages by foot in about half an our, by car or motorbike in five minutes. Especially Agios Stephanos offers good restaurants, tourist shops and a wide beach. The bakery in Magoulades offers every morning fresh bread from the olivewood stove. At the small church just before the bakery, a path leads trough the olive groves with stunning views over the Corfiot landscape to an old monastery. The road that passes our apartments is the route between this villages. For most vistitors traffic is no problem. You can be part of the village life, watching who is passing by, smiling and saying hello.  It is important to us to make everthing as beautiful and comfortable as possible to please our guests. That's why me mention this road. So who is particularly sensitive to noise should think about what accommodation to choose.The two studios Fofo and Kosta and the apartment Sophia have a rear balcony away from the street. |
